Our Impact

Our work focuses on building meaningful connections, nurturing grassroots leadership, and creating opportunities for collective action. We are a volunteer-driven organization, powered by people who believe deeply in justice, dignity, and opportunity for every member of our community. SNUI initiatives include mutual aid (providing essential food and personal care items to 100+ families weekly), court accompaniment, public information campaigns, and social and political advocacy.

SNUI points of unity include:

• Building a collective, democratic, non-partisian, and grassroots organization.
• Aiding our immigrant siblings regardless of status or documentation.
• Building political opposition to the ICE/DHS deportation machine.
• Exercising our constitutionally-protected rights of free speech, freedom of association, freedom of assembly. And freedom to occupy public space.
